Backup - New Answers for an Old Question
Sunday, November 30th, 2008It seems every year someone publishes a list of the top issues in IT, and every year backup issues are right up there at the top of the list. After 20 years of working on backup products, I find it a little disconcerting that backup remains a major problem. Maybe the problem is that we are still using the same approach we were using over 30 years ago. We keep trying to improve the process, but it’s not enough. Maybe it’s time to try a different tactic.
