In the wake of the announcement of our unique high availability (HA) option for our File-interface Deduplication System (FDS), I feel this is a good opportunity to reiterate the strong value proposition of our policy-based data dedupe. Most other dedupe vendors offer an all-or-nothing approach to dedupe and tout the “virtues” of real time, inline data dedupe. Indeed, such stances have ignited market hype wars and driven certain stock valuations through the roof.
